This painting reimagines Chicago’s iconic "Bean" sculpture through a seamless composite of four different photographs. At first glance, the image appears realistic, capturing people interacting with their reflections and with one another. On closer inspection, the viewer discovers the scene is an intricate construction of overlapping moments and shifting perspectives. By combining multiple realities into one frame, the work invites reflection on perception, connection, and the playful, fluid nature of how we see ourselves and each other within public spaces.
